Binding Energy, Photopic Vision, and on..

I'm in the middle of my final year exam right now. Like, the FINALS. Just like when I first moved to this unknown place, I am scared. I'm coming to the end of it, though. 9 out of 12 papers, 4 out of 6 subjects so far.

Physics was just done today. This is my only exam with 3 different papers at two different days. And then again, as everyone says... it's Physics.

People have always asked me why did I take the subject in the first place. It is by far, the most horrible form of science they say. Well....

When I was in Elementary School, we have science and it has mixtures of Biology (taking up most of it) and simple Physics. I still remember at the practical exam in Grade 6 we had to create our own electric circuit with tiny light bulbs and all that. It was lovely.

Then, I was in Junior High School where they splits the science into 3, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. To be completely honest, Biology was my favorite out of those 3. We didn't do much Chemistry until it was the second semester of grade 8 (if I'm not mistaken?) and through grade 9. So, until today, I don't know much about it. And, it was kind of confusing as well, for me. As for Physics? We did it throughout the 3 years, and I hated it. My grades are up and down, some theories I got some calculations were hazy. Because of Physics, I swore to myself I won't major in Science in Senior High School. My brother did, and it looked horrible to me.

Things changed and I went to different school... Where everything is in English and all of the sudden all subjects connected with language are alien, like Biology. In Grade 10, understanding all the different words they use to call different things and processes, the new concepts, and at the same time struggling with English language was not easy.

On the other hand, Physics was still the same. The calculations, symbols, the words, the concepts, are all familiar. Well, it was in Grade 10. Until I decided to take Physics SL for my senior year...

Remember the bad relationship with me and Physics in Junior High? This time is magical. My teacher was pretty good, she teaches us stuffs, put up notes, giving us handouts, and all that jazz. But.... everytime she gives examples or tests, the questions are simple (enough) for people in my class to get quite a good grades. The real exam papers, though, are not a piece of cake. It's a piece of iron, the most stable thing with the highest binding energy that is very hard to break all the electrons. Just like iron, the questions are hard, hard, and whatever-harder-than-hard.

Since I'm done with the subject forever, I REALLY HOPE that I can get a good mark on this and all the subjects. Wish me luck!! :D
